Sbe Varvit plant opens in Acerra Special Economic Zone with 30 million € investment

Leader mondiale nella produzione di giunti meccanici di fissaggio, di fondamentale importanza per molti settori industriali

The Sbe Varvit plant of the Vescovini group opens in Acerra, in the Zes area. The Emilia-based group is among the world leaders in the production of mechanical fasteners, components of fundamental importance for many industrial sectors. For the investment in Campania, it benefited from the Special Economic Zone facilities with the Single Authorisation of the Government’s Commissioner.

Sbe Varvit hired 63 people, including 42 young industrial experts from Campania.

This is the first single authorisation issued on 21 July. And just ten months later, the plant is ready to start operation thanks to a 30 million investment. “It was one of the first Single Authorisations to be issued, a tangible sign that when there is speed in issuing authorisations, there is also speed in the execution of subsequent works. This result is the best advertisement for the attraction of new investments in our territory,” commented the Government’s Commissioner for the Campania Zones, Giosy Romano. “Let’s not forget the public works envisaged by the Pnrr, which we will complete within the scheduled deadlines.”

Sbe Varvit, with a turnover of more than 300 million, is one of the world leaders in the fasteners market: mechanical fasteners crucial for several industrial sectors (automotive, construction machinery, heavy duty and industrial machinery), and has a portfolio of more than 5,000 customers in 70 countries thanks to the collaboration of 1,000 employees.
